Marian Women's Group - Central Louisiana
A Women's Group is being formed through the Schoenstatt Women's League, with the permission of Rev. John Wiltse, Pastor of St. Mary's Assumption Church, in Cottonport.
The first meeting will be held at the St. Mary's Community Center (CYO), Front Street, Cottonport, on Thursday, June 17th, 2021. There will be an afternoon meeting beginning at 1PM, and an evening meeting beginning at 6PM.
The objective of the group is the education of its members, following the example of the Blessed Mother. The focus of the meetings is to provide materials for women who want to deepen their faith, discuss topics that concern them as women, and support each other in their commitment to strive to fulfill their calling to be apostolic in their walk through life.
