This comes to us from Fr. Jesus, the Texas Movement Director, via the Austin Facebook site:
"We are very excited to share some news about a beautiful Schoenstatt project. The Schoenstatt family of the United States is working on a Jubilee gift to the International Movement, just as many other countries did in 2014. Our gift is a little bit late, because it is unique. We are working on completing a feature-length documentary about the 2014 anniversary celebration in Germany and Rome to be released and presented on October 18th of this year.
"This film, which we have called, "Seed of a New World" promises to be an inspirational story that follows 6 individuals from all over the world and tells the story of the Jubilee from their eyes. The film directors have already collected all the footage for the film, but still have the editing left to do (which includes, but is not limited to: color-grading, sound mixing, and music licensing). This will be a full-time job for them, particularly if they are to finish the film by October of this year. Unfortunately, in order to bring the editing to completion, they are still in need of funding.
"To that end, the film's team will be launching a Kickstarter fundraising campaign on July 9th of this year, this means that from July 9th, we will have 30 days in which to reach a goal of $37,000 needed to make the film a reality. When it launches, they will have some great rewards for you on the Kickstarter page, including a digital download of the documentary itself!
"Please take a minute right now to check out this page: https://www.kickstarter.com/…/8828…/seed-of-a-new-world-film where you can see the film trailer and sign up to support the fundraiser. You play a very important role in spreading the word about this film in your local Schoenstatt Family or with your friends. Would you help us?
"Thank you so very much! We are so excited to share this amazing film with you and the world! United in our mission,
"Fr. Jesus Ferras, ISP - Movement Director-Texas
